If you’re tired of store-bought bread that’s low on taste and packed with preservatives, there’s a better way. Taste the difference our fresh, flavorful bread can make.
Our family had been searching for healthy options that would taste great, but we were often left disappointed by what we could find in grocery stores. Then one day my mother-in-law introduced me to the concept of milling grain at home, and everything changed. We learned that store-bought bread typically contains only 4 out of the 44 essential nutrients grain can offer. Fresh-milled flour, however, retains up to 40 of those essential nutrients, making it not only tastier, but more nourishing as well.
That discovery sparked the vision for Five Grains. Yes, it represents the organic, unmodified ingredients in our nutrient-rich breads—but it also goes deeper. When I mill grain, it’s carefully separated, and the most valuable part is kept to become flour. It’s then kneaded, shaped, and baked into something wonderful. In much the same way, I believe God has given me my own five grains—my five children—to mold, shape, and raise to live for His glory. This bakery is about flavorful bread, but It’s also about nourishment, purpose, and faith—all baked into every loaf.
Thanks to Brittney introducing me to fresh milled flour, I have abandoned my 20+ year gluten free lifestyle and am healthier than I have been in my entire adult life. To hear more of my story, check out the Sue’s Healthy Minutes podcast.
I sampled Brittney's fresh milled bread right before getting diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. I quickly realized that foods made with refined flour are a trigger for my disease. It’s also incredibly more flavorful than processed flour and I know I’m getting the nutrition that my body needs.
I tried Five Grains for the first time a couple of years ago, and since then my family can’t get enough! The cinnamon swirl bread, the sandwich bread, and the blueberry muffins are all delicious!
